The greatest international success dates back to 1996 when the club reached the final of the Asian Cup Winners Cup , but lost to Bellmare Hiratsuka from Japan 2-1. As early as 1986/87, the “students” reached the final round of the Asian Club Championship at that time, now the AFC Champions League , but only finished fourth in the final score.
