Asian Cup Winners' Cup
The Asia Cup Winners' Cup ( Engl. : Asian Cup Winners Cup) was once the second most important Asian club football competition after the Asian Club Championship and was from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) organized. It was held a total of twelve times between 1991 and 2002. Similar to the comparable competitions in Europe and Africa , the game was played in a pure knockout system with a return leg up to the final.
The competition went on in 2003 in the AFC Champions League .
