Copa de Confraternidad Escobar-Gerona
The Copa de Confraternidad Escobar-Gerona was a football competition that was held in South America in the 1940s between the respective runners-up of the Uruguayan Primera División Profesional de Uruguay and the Argentine league Argentina de Fútbol . The competition, founded by Ramiro Jouan, was named after Adrián Escobar and Héctor Gerona , the then presidents of the respective national associations Asociación del Fútbol Argentino and the Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol .
