The Arab Cup Winners 'Cup ( English Arab Cup Winners' Cup ) was a football competition for club teams in the Arab world , that of the Union of Arab Football Associations organized (UAFA) and was fought twelve times from 1989 to 2001. The cup winners of the participating countries were eligible to participate. The two finalists qualified for the Arab Super Cup from 1992 to 2001 . In 2002 the competition was merged with the Arab Club Champions Cup and played twice as the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Tournament . This later became the Arab Champions League and subsequently the Arab Club Champions Cup .
