The Arab Super Cup ( English Arab Super Cup ) was a football competition for club teams in the Arab world , which was organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) and played eight times from 1992 to 2001. According to the current sources, the first event in 1992 was an unofficial event. The finalists of the Arab Club Champions Cup and the Arab Cup winners competition of the previous year were eligible to participate . The game was played in a simple league round everyone against everyone in a city. After both competitions were merged into the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Tournament in 2002 and then into the Arab Champions League , it became obsolete.
