Wilhelm Friedrich Männer (born September 2, 1870 in Frontenhausen , † October 14, 1923 in Unterhaching ) was a German politician ( BBB ).

Live and act

After attending primary school in Frontenhausen, men received practical training and at the advanced training school in Dingolfing to become merchants. Men later worked as an office clerk in the Esterer machine factory in Altötting , then as a traveling salesman for the Schneidt company in Amberg and as a representative of the porcelain and earthenware factory Ernst Dorfner and Co. in Hirschau in the Upper Palatinate.

In 1899 men started their own business in Partenkirchen , in 1901 he moved to Simbach am Inn . From 1896 to 1899 he was secretary of the Hirschau community college, and later from 1906 to 1912 as a member of the Simbach community committee.

After the November Revolution of 1918, Männer was a member of the provisional government of the People's State of Bavaria and a member of the parliamentary peasant council.

In January 1919, men for the Bavarian Farmers' Union (BBB) ​​were elected to the Weimar National Assembly, in which he represented constituency 25 (district of Niederbayern-Oberpfalz) until he resigned his mandate prematurely on February 8, 1919.
