Athanasios Skaltsogiannis

Athanasios Skaltsogiannis ( Greek Αθανάσιος Σκαλτσογιάννης , * 1878 in Etoliko ) was a Greek athlete who took part in the Summer Olympics in Athens in 1896. He was third or fourth in the preliminary round 2 in the 110-meter hurdles . He also took part in the long jump competition, in which he did not come in the top four. Its exact results are not known here either.

He was a freedom fighter in the Epirus region . He later worked as a prison guard. He was killed by an inmate in Mendrese prison.
