Teraturgema

Athanasius wrote Teraturgema ( ΤΕΡΑΤΟΥΡΓΗΜΑ ) from 1638. It is written in Polish and describes 64 miracles in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and its surroundings from 1594 to 1637. It was intended to refute the assertion of the churches united with Rome under the influence of the Jesuits that miracles no longer occur in Orthodox churches. It also describes historical events in the past and the topography of Kiev. She also mentions the Cossack uprising. Athanasius writes from an orthodox and pro-Ukrainian perspective.

The Teraturgema continues the text Paterikon of the Metropolitan Silvester Kossow from 1635 and appeared in the college of Petro Mohyla .

Athanasius was co-author of the work Description of the Miracles of the Icon of Our Lady of Kolyatitsk by Hilarion Denisovich.
