The Banco Privado Atlântico Europe, SA (short: Atlantico Europe ) is a publicly traded private bank based in the Portuguese capital Lisbon . The main shareholder of the institute, which was founded in 2009, is the Luxembourgish Atlantico Finantial Group, SA
In 2014, Atlantico Europa's business volume was around 574 million euros, of which around 412 million euros were accounted for by customer deposits alone. With an after-tax profit of EUR 3.75 million, the 2014 financial year was also the most successful year in the company's young history. Compared to 2013, the profit could be increased by over 58%.
Atlantico Europa is a member of the deposit protection fund of the Portuguese Republic (FGD, Fundo der Garantia de Depósitos), which has compensation funds of around 1.1 billion euros (as of December 31, 2014).
