Atlasreisen was a German travel agency company that temporarily employed around 2,000 people in around 500 branches. It was founded in Cologne in 1974 and quickly developed into the city's largest travel agency. In 1988 Rewe bought the 18 branches as an entry into the travel sales business and expanded them to over 300 branches in 1994. After reunification, Atlasreisen took over the East German chains Reisewelt (1995), Palmtourist and Jugendtourist, in order to quickly assume a market-leading role in the new federal states.

After taking over ITS Reisen in 1995, a further 300 travel agencies were brought into the company. Around the turn of the millennium, Rewe's tourism division was expanded considerably.

Since April 12, 2013, all Atlasreisen travel agencies have been part of DER Touristik and now bear the name DER . The Atlasreisen brand is no longer used by DER Touristik.
