Atos IT service and consulting
Atos IT-Service und Beratung GmbH (formerly Siemens IT-Service und Beratung GmbH) was created in May 2008 from the merger of Services for Business IT Ruhr GmbH (SBI Ruhr) and its subsidiary saardata GmbH. The shops had Siemens Business Services 2004 by the Ruhrkohle AG acquired. Since Siemens IT Solutions and Services GmbH was incorporated into the Atos Group, Siemens has been replaced by Atos in the company name.
The main business includes IT outsourcing and IT solutions for corporations and upper German medium -sized companies in the real estate , energy, raw materials, discrete manufacturing and chemicals sectors . A special focus is on special IT solutions for the real estate industry, the cable industry, public utilities and church institutions .
Atos IT-Service und Beratung GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the former Siemens IT Solutions and Services GmbH, now Atos IT Solutions and Services GmbH. In the 2008 financial year, the SBI Ruhr and saardata group of companies with 709 employees achieved a joint turnover of 111.0 million euros. The headquarters of the new company Atos IT-Service und Beratung GmbH is in Gelsenkirchen, other important locations are Saarbrücken and Herne.
