Attian climate

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Attian climate is a tropical climate in West Africa . It has four seasons, with the wet periods (rainy seasons) being the same length as the dry (dry seasons). The big rainy season lasts from April to mid-July, the following small dry season until mid-September. Then comes a small rainy season until November and the big dry season from December to March. The Attian climate occurs, for example, in the south of the Ivory Coast .

In contrast to this is about

  • the building climate , in which the dry seasons are longer than the rainy seasons. This climate is evident in the center of the Ivory Coast.
  • the Sudanese climate with two opposite seasons. This can be observed in the north of the Ivory Coast, in Mali or in Burkina Faso .
  • the Ivorian mountain climate . This also has two seasons. As with the Attiean, the duration of rainy and dry seasons are the same.
