Attila (also: Husarka) is the name of the typical uniform skirt of the hussars . From 1849 onwards, this form of the tunic replaced the previously common short-lumped and fur-trimmed jacket form of the dolman in the Austro-Hungarian army . Over time, the Attila was adopted in this form by all other European armies.

The uniform is closed on the chest with a special lacing made of silver or gold trimmings (Hungarian adjustment), the ornaments of which are borrowed from the Hungarian and Croatian magnate costume of the 16th century.
