Aublysodon ( "backward-looking tooth") is a dinosaur from the taxon of tyrannosaur from the Late Cretaceous from the US, which is known only from a few teeth fossils.

Joseph Leidy introduced the name Aublysodon mirandus to describe the animal in 1868 . In the 1980s, parts of a skull with very similar teeth were found in the United States. Gregory S. Paul proposed a new name for this find called Aublysodon molnari . From the frequency of the finds, Aublysodon seems to have been fairly widespread in the USA - the teeth are now believed to be the remains of juvenile specimens of the Tyrannosaurus rex or Nanotyrannus . Scientists now classify Aublysodon as the noun dubium , so that the name Aublysodon , similar to Deinodon , is rarely used today.
