architecture

The floor plan is oriented as an elongated hexagon from northwest to southeast. The church is located in the middle of a residential area and is immediately recognizable as a place of worship by its construction and especially by its tower, which is integrated into the building and marks the entrance. The interior of the church has almost the character of a central space due to the separation of the vestibule and sacristy. The benches are aligned diagonally to each other on the altar and can seat approx. 200 to 240 people. The altar table, sermon stand and baptismal stand are made in the simplest forms in pine wood. A large altar cross made of oak beams hangs on the altar wall.

window

Ceiling-high, fanned-out window strips on the northern corner and a three-row altar window on the south side are antique glazing and show strong blue and yellow tones. The windows were made by Heinz Linden (Bonn).

Bells

The Church of the Resurrection has a small ring made of four bronze bells , which was cast in 1966 by the Rincker company from Sinn (Dillkreis). The bells are matched with the chimes g 1 , b 1 , c 2 and es 2 to the ringing of the neighboring Catholic Church to the painful mother and bear the inscriptions fear not , I have redeemed you , I called you by your name and you are my .

organ

In 1991, the company "Tonstube C. Bieker" and the organ builder Marcus Kaul built an organ , mostly from used parts , which replaced the previously existing hammer positive with four registers. It was financed by donations, a support association, a grant from the regional church and the sale of the positive organ that existed at the time . This resulted in the following disposition (the years of construction of the individual registers in brackets ):
