Stand-up aid on motor vehicles

When standing up , even -stand , are within the scope of retrofitting passenger cars for disabled people and equipment to a designated handicapped person getting up from the low seat position of a car seat allow or to facilitate.

Next to the seat

A narrow seat board is positioned on a bracket next to the car seat . The arm is attached to the door pillar of the front door ( B-pillar ) so that it can be moved vertically . It can be raised up to approx. 80 cm above the street. To use it, the driver slides onto the seat board and operates the remote control of the lifting device. The user must maintain a stable posture on his own during the lifting process.

Integrated in the car seat

In the case of a stand-up aid built into the car seat, the seat surface is raised by an electric motor at the push of a button and laterally moved outwards. Depending on the vehicle type, the lifting height is up to approx. 90 cm above the ground. The user must maintain a stable posture on his own during the lifting process.
