List of fees and budget calculation
The list of fees and budget calculations (AEB) is an essential part of the negotiations between the cost bearers (i.e. the health insurance companies ) and individual hospitals and therefore plays a role in hospital financing . However, this only applies to those hospitals that bill according to DRGs . Different regulations apply to other hospitals (e.g. correctional hospitals). The AEB replaced the service and calculation schedule (LKA) for hospitals that bill according to the regulation on hospital care rates (BPflV). The Hospital Remuneration Act (KHEntgG) is the legal basis for the AEB .
