Augustina Steinhauser
M. Augustina Steinhauser (* 1884 , † 1964 ; born Agathe Steinhauser ) was a German nun of the Franciscan Sisters of Sießen .
Career
Steinhauser was the fifth general superior of the Sießen monastery from 1936 to 1948 . During this time, the monastery was closed and the nuns were expelled by the National Socialists. After the end of the war, she succeeded in repatriating the confiscated monastery and reopening the associated schools.
