Aulus Larcius Macedo

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aulus Larcius Macedo was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

Inscriptions on two milestones prove that Macedo was governor ( Legatus Augusti pro praetore ) in the province of Galatia around 118/119 . A military diploma proves that he was suffect consul with Publius Ducenius Verres ; the two presumably held this office from April to June. The two consuls are also evidenced in this function by the Arvalakten .

His father was Larcius Macedo .
