Auroraholmen is an island off the Mirny coast of Peter I Island in the Bellingshausen Sea . It is located 1 km east of the eastern foothills of Cape Eva .
Norwegian scientists named it after the Aurora , the ship of the 8th Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1986–1987).
