Expansion of the Brandmoor

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Expansion of the Brandmoor , also simply called Brandmoor , was a residential area in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

The living space was created when the manor of Brückenkrug was settled at the end of the 19th century, over 1 km southwest of Brückenkrug. It consisted of two farms and had (as of 1905) 22 residents. It initially belonged to the Brückenkrug manor district and when it was dissolved in 1906 it was incorporated into the Reselkow community . The living space was recorded as “Brandmoor” on the official measurement table .

Up until 1945, the expansion of Brandmoor formed a residential area in the municipality of Reselkow and belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania . After 1945, Brandmoor was expanded to Poland, as was the rest of Pomerania. Today the site is in the territory of the Polish Gmina Rymań (rural municipality Roman) ; the current buildings at this point have no special place name in Polish.
