The Bavarian Education Offensive is a youth campaign by bayme (Association of the Bavarian Metal and Electrical Industry - VBM). Since 2001, employers' associations have been targeting young people between the ages of 12 and 18 as well as parents and teachers with this initiative.

Communication goal

The aim is to advise students in their final and pre-graduate years on their professional orientation and to draw their attention to the training opportunities and the dual study opportunities in the Bavarian metal and electrical industry. The Bavarian Training Offensive supports companies in the Bavarian metal and electrical industry in securing skilled workers .

"Info team" communication channel

In addition to printed matter and online information, the “info teams” in particular play a key role in the communication strategy of the Bayern training offensive. Basically, this is an approach from peer education : The pupils receive information on career planning from young people (around) the same age. Upon invitation, the teams visit the Bavarian schools free of charge (Hauptschule, Realschule and Gymnasium).
