Separation

As Auseinzelung is known in the pharmaceutical dispensing z. B. individual tablets by a pharmacist , doctor , dentist , veterinarian or a hospital . Individual tablets are removed from the usual pack sizes according to the appropriate prescription . The delivery of such partial quantities serves to save costs. In some cases there is a ban on isolation.

For Germany, Section 14 of the Pharmacy Operation Regulations stipulates that the package insert must be enclosed and the name and address of the dispensing pharmacy must be given.
