The exhibition and trade fair committee of the German economy e. V. (AUMA) is the interest group of the German trade fair industry. Its themes are trade fairs and exhibitions .

Members of the association founded in 1907 are the leading associations of the German economy, the German trade fair and exhibition organizers, professional associations of the trade fair-interested economy and associations of service companies in the trade fair industry.

tasks

  • Representing the interests of members on a national and international level in relation to politics, authorities and other organizations ( lobbying / public affairs )
  • Information about trade fairs in Germany and worldwide in the free internet database www.auma.de. It contains data from around 5000 trade fairs.
  • Coordination of foreign trade fair activities by German companies as part of the federal foreign trade fair program (AMP of the BMWi and BMEL ) and the programs of the federal states
  • Roof marketing for the German trade fair location and trade fairs as a communication medium
  • Preparation of studies on the trade fair industry
  • Support of training and further education in the trade fair industry
  • Management of the Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics (FKM)
