The Austin Music Hall was a multi-purpose venue in Austin , Texas .
history
The arena was built on an area of 43,000 square feet and could accommodate more than 4,000 people. The venue was mainly used for concerts. Eric Clapton performed here as part of his From the Cradle World Tour . On March 18, 2016, the hall had to be completely evacuated after a person pulled a gun from a restless audience . In spring 2016 the hall was closed and demolished. The last activity of the hall and its owner was published on March 30, 2016.
