The Australian Lightwing SP-2000 Speed is a sport aircraft from the Australian manufacturer Australian Lightwing .

History and construction

The aircraft is a two-seat low-wing aircraft with a conventional tail unit and either a non-retractable nose wheel landing gear or a tail wheel landing gear. The seats are arranged side by side in a closed cabin. Access to the cabin is via double doors on both sides. The fuselage consists of welded steel tubes and is GRP coated. The aircraft is also offered as a kit for amateur construction . The machine is powered either by a Rotax 912 ULS with 75 kW or a Jabiru 3300 with 89 kW.
