Authentication feature

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The authentication feature is the feature with which a user can be authenticated by a protected system .

This feature can be applied to knowledge ( password , PIN , password ) on property ( key , card ) or a property ( biometric feature z. B. voice , iris image , fingerprint ) or original signature based or a combination of these features.

Dynamic authentication becomes possible when the operational context is included. Then the authentication factors apply only in a previously determined, explicitly recognized context.
