Autobahn master
The motorway foreman is the head of a motorway maintenance department and is responsible for all activities that are carried out by his foreman. The tasks of the motorway foreman include planning the deployment of staff and vehicles or equipment. The budget is also his responsibility. As a rule, the motorway foreman has completed a degree in civil engineering and is therefore part of the higher-level technical administrative service in the field of road construction . In Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg this position is occupied by an official from the middle technical service ( technician or master craftsman).
