from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Autodrom Sedlčany (also: Sedlčanská kotlina ) is a motorsport racetrack in Sedlčany , Czech Republic . It consists of several off-road slopes, most of which are gravel. In addition to other asphalt passages, there is also an asphalted start area, as is common in rallycross .

The route was opened in 1953. From 1958 the Czech Motocross Championship took place there. From 1961 there were also international events, which peaked in 1975 with the Motocross des Nations . Today the Autodrom is mainly used for international and national rallycross ( FIA Central European Zone Rallycross Trophy ), autocross and motocross competitions. Since the paddock is located on the Mastník stream , the facility has already been flooded several times, which means that events had to be canceled in advance or broken off in their course.

The Autodrom was twice a stop for the FIA European Rallycross Championship .
