AvERP

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

AvERP is a license-free, but proprietary corporate planning software (freeware) for inventory management and production planning ( ERP system ) from the Bayreuth company Synerpy , which was developed for medium- sized companies .

The number of workstations that can be installed is basically unlimited, so that the software is also scalable at no additional cost. AvERP is multi-client capable.

The user only incurs costs for the services incurred for adapting and introducing the system if he does not want to have this carried out in-house. This model was made possible through the further utilization of a joint development by German companies in the field of plant and mechanical engineering.

programming

AvERP consists of a client program programmed in Delphi and a Firebird database . The client program actually only runs under Windows , but thanks to Wine it can also be used under Linux , for example . In addition to the data, the database also contains the complete logic of AvERP. The client program thus "only" functions as a database browser and can therefore also be run on older PCs. The program also includes a Pascal- like script language in which the logic of the masks and the design can be adapted.

The source code is made completely available to the user. This makes the software transparent in terms of scope and technology and allows the user to make any adjustments to optimize the processes. The adjustments can only be made via the enclosed designer with its own script language with Pascal syntax or directly in the database. However, the user may not pass on modified program parts to third parties. Any type of chargeable service is reserved for the manufacturer and the group of certified sales partners.
