Avni Odabaşı
Avni Odabaşı (* 1957 in Diyarbakır ) is a German-Turkish cartoonist who writes his caricatures in both German and Turkish .
In 1985, two years after Odabaşı published his first cartoon in Gırgır , his first stand-alone exhibition was in Istanbul , followed by exhibitions in 36 administrative districts and counties in Turkey. The first collection of caricatures by the satirist, Do not touch my thoughts, now living in Frankfurt am Main , contained caricatures in both Turkish and German.
Odabaşı already received four z. T. international prizes and his cartoons also appear in magazines outside the Turkish and German-speaking regions.
