Axel Klingenberg (actor)
Axel Klingenberg (born November 8, 1940 in Breslau ) is a German stage and television actor .
Live and act
Klingenberg received an acting training in Hamburg and made his debut at the theater in Neumünster. This was followed by engagements in Hamburg (art theater) and Basel, after which he worked as a freelance. Guest performances led him a. a. to Salzburg. The native Silesian also worked for the radio of the NDR and as an assistant director. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Klingenberg was brought in front of the camera for several television films before he said goodbye to the screen for around a decade and returned to the stage (e.g. Hamburg's theater in the room). He only returned to television work in the 1980s.
