Ayşe Kilimci

Ayşe Kilimci (* 1954 in Izmir ) is a Turkish writer .

After studying social work, she lived and worked in Tarsus . In 1972 she started publishing short stories, which remained her main field of activity. Later she also wrote a number of children's books as well as essays and reports. Kilimci's books have also been translated into German. As part of Turkey's guest country appearance at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2008, the author could be seen with a reading.
