Ayşe Sineperver Sultan

Ayşe Sineperver Sultan (* 1761 in Bulgaria ; † December 11, 1828 in Istanbul ) was the mother of the Ottoman Sultan Mustafa IV. '

She was born in Bulgaria in 1761 with the name Sonia . She later became one of the wives of Abdülhamids I (1725–1789) and mother of Prince Mustafa. After her son's accession to the throne in 1807, she became Valide Sultan in the Ottoman Empire until he was deposed in 1808 . She outlived her son by 20 years and died on December 11, 1828.
