The building at Bäckerstraße 9 is a listed residential and commercial building in Hötensleben in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the western part of Hötensleben on the west side of Bäckerstraße opposite the confluence of Straße Im Winkel .

History and architecture

On the south side of the property there is a gable, two-storey residential building. The partially half-timbered building was built after a fire in 1829. Adjacent to the north, a flat-roofed one-storey shop extension was added in the second half of the 19th century. The shop was given four large shop windows facing the street. The shop entrance door is arranged in the middle, the facade is lavishly designed.

In the 2010s, the cultivation became ruinous. It is currently (as of 2017) in need of renovation and has no roof. However, the facade and the outer walls have been preserved.

The residential and commercial building is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 56133 in the monument register for Hötensleben .
