Bålhög

The Bålhög is a prehistoric barrow on the southern tip of Sweden near Smygehuk in Trelleborg municipality . It is located a little east of the port of Smygehuk.

The burial mound was built in the Bronze Age between 1800 and 500 BC. The diameter of the hill is 27 meters, the height about 2.5 meters. In the past, the hill also served as a navigation mark by lighting stacks of wood on it.
