Béatrice Stucki

Béatrice Stucki (born December 22, 1960 in Bern ; resident in Grosshöchstetten ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Béatrice Stucki attended elementary school in Muri near Bern and then did a commercial apprenticeship . From 1990 to 2000 she worked as managing director of the Bernischer Blindenfürsorgeverein and from 2001 to 2005 as managing director of the umbrella association for youth exchanges Intermundo. From 2005 to 2010 Stucki worked as a union secretary of the VPOD Cities Communities Energy and since 2010 as a union secretary in the education department of the VPOD Bern. Béatrice Stucki is married and lives in Bern.

From 1997 to 2006, Béatrice Stucki was a member of the Bern City Council, where she was a member of the business audit committee. She has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern since 2005 , where she was a member of the steering committee from 2006 to 2010. She has been a member of the Finance Commission since 2010 and has been Vice-President since 2012. In 2017, Stucki was elected as the successor to Elisabeth Striffeler-Mürset as Vice President of the SP-JUSO-PSA parliamentary group.

From 2001 to 2015, Béatrice Stucki was president of the sponsoring association for open youth work in the city of Bern, TOJ, and from 2009 to 2017 a member of the board of the women's center in the canton of Bern. She has been President of the Trade Union Confederation of the City of Bern and Surroundings GSB since 2012 and a member of the board and management of the Trade Union Confederation of the Canton of Bern since 2013. Stucki has been a member of the board of the social psychiatry interest group since 2009 and a member of the board of the cantonal conference for the disabled since 2011.
