The Béla Bartók Memorial House ( Hungarian Bartók Béla Emlékház ) is a museum in Budapest . It is located at Csalán út 29 in the II. District and serves the memory of the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók .

Bartók lived in the rented three-storey villa from 1932 until he emigrated to the USA in October 1940. On the occasion of the centenary of his birth in 1981, after it had been renovated and rebuilt according to plans by the architect György Fazakas, the house was moved to by the city of Budapest converted into a memorial house. The museum includes photographs from the life of the composer, some of his furniture, personal items, the phonograph his ethnomusicological activity and the Bösendorfer - wing Bartók.

The museum is also used regularly for chamber music concerts. In the garden stands the Bartók monument by the Hungarian sculptor Imre Varga .
