The Böttstein Castle Chapel was built by the von Roll brothers at the same time as Böttstein Castle . It was inaugurated by the papal nuncio in October 1617. The chapel received three patrons: Antonius , Franziskus and Ulrich. Around 1823 a chaplaincy was added and in 1840 the chapel was equipped with an organ.

The two towers, the magnificent paintings and the northern Italian stucco work make the magnificent chapel something special in the canton of Aargau. The building is a listed building and is managed by the Roman Catholic chapel association Böttstein .
