Alliance for Change (Croatian: Savez za promjene , abbreviation SP ) is a party from Croatia that sees itself as a free party and is based in Zagreb .

The party was founded after the so-called Facebook protests , which were held in many countries. B. the longstanding dictatorship in Egypt was overthrown. Protests took place in Croatia in March and April 2011. The party did not want to assign itself ideologically to the left or the right ; It sees itself rather concentrating on concrete economic problems that arose in Croatia after independence.

There was a risk of confusion with the Kukuriku coalition , which at the time of its founding was also called the Alliance for Change .

Party platform

The party advocates a concept of personal and economic freedom, with an emphasis on freedom of expression , and advocates covering the state deficit with credit-free financial resources from the Croatian National Bank , i.e. increasing the amount of money instead of national debt. She is of the opinion that all Croatian citizens should have the opportunity to work, save and invest so that they can live largely independently of state transfers. She is against the introduction of taxes on real estate , capital gains, dividends and inheritance .

She was against Croatia's accession to the EU and is against the participation of the Croatian army in foreign military operations. It would like to end the financing of religious communities from the state budget and aims to abolish the license fee.
