The Błaszyk moraine ( Polish Morena Błaszyka ) is a moraine on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies on the banks of Admiralty Bay between the Baranowski and Sphinx glaciers .
Polish scientists named it in 1980 after the paleontologist Janusz Błaszyk, who participated in the Polish Antarctic expedition, which ran from 1978 to 1979.
