The Baranowski Glacier ( Polish : Lodowiec Baranowskiego ) is a glacier on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows east to Admiralty Bay , which it reaches northwest of Demay Point .

Participants in a Polish Antarctic expedition in 1984 named him after the Polish glaciologist Stanisław Baranowski (1935–1978), who died on August 27, 1978 as a result of gas poisoning eight months earlier at the Arctowski station .
