Būtingė (German, 18th century: Budendingshof ) is a former village on the Baltic Sea coast in northwest Lithuania in the Klaipėda district , right on the border with Latvia . It belongs to the municipality of Palanga and is located 17 km north of the city center and 5 km north of the Šventoji district.

Butinge fell to Lithuania in 1921 as part of an exchange of territory with Latvia. Latvians still live in the settlement today.

The Būtingė oil terminal , which belongs to the Lithuanian oil company Mažeikių Nafta , has been in operation since 1999.
