B. Bumble And The Stingers is the name given to changing combinations of musicians in the USA between 1960 and 1965 for different purposes. The name became known in connection with two instrumental titles: Bumble Boogie (1961) and Nut Rocker (1962), a very rocking variation from Tchaikovsky's " Nutcracker Suite ".

After Nut Rocker became a huge success, producer Kim Fowley of Rendezvous Records put together a trio for TV appearances and a promotional tour and invented a story. Then B. Bumble and the Stingers was founded in 1960 by William "Billy" Bumble and quickly got a record deal.

Al Hazan also played piano with other unnamed musicians on the quickly scheduled tour of Great Britain.

At Bumble Boogie Ernie Freeman played piano, who later made recordings under his own name and became a well-known producer.

Musicians like Red Callender (bass, on the Bumble Boogie ) or Plas Johnson (saxophone) were also involved in the recording sessions .
