B12 (band)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

B12 is the name of a band and record label from Great Britain that release IDM / electronica music.

B12 Recordings was initially a record company founded by Mike Golding and Steve Rutter, which was a go-to for the release of Electronica and IDM in the early 1990s. The label owners produced most of the publications under various pseudonyms (for example Musicology , Redcell , 2001 , Infamix or Cmetric ), but there were also publications by Stasis ( Steve Pickton ) or As One ( Kirk Degiorgio ).

Two albums were later released under the band name B12, one of them in the trend-setting Artificial Intelligence series and an EP as well as some compilations on Warp Records .

In March 2005, B12 played a live concert in London for the first time in eight years.
