The building 134a - bomb shelter Krumpa type Salzgitter is an air defense building from the Second World War in Saxony-Anhalt . It was created in 1944 and served the administration and management of the Lützkendorf mineral oil plant of Wintershall AG as a protection and command bunker. A total of 16 air raid bunkers of this type were planned on the site of the mineral oil works, of which only 8 bunkers were built due to a shortage of materials.

After the end of the war, the property remained the property of the successor company VEB Mineralölwerk Lützkendorf and was used in different ways. When the plant was closed in 1998, the property came into municipal ownership.

In 2013, an interest group was founded with the task of documenting the events of the Allied fuel offensive in 1944/45 and its effects on the Geiseltal. Documentation has been in modest form in air raid shelter B134a since 2014 and is to be expanded and completed in the coming years.
