The BAW Fenix ( Russian BAW Ф enix) is a light truck that was manufactured from 2006 to summer 2008 by Beijing Automobile Works and since then by BAW-RUS Motor Corporation for the Russian market. The model corresponds technically to the Beijing Qiling produced in China .
The model is available as a flatbed truck as well as a panel truck with various bodies. The platform truck is also available with a jib crane on request. Depending on the structure, the dimensions are different. The length of the vehicles can range from 5950 mm to 6000 mm, or 6700 mm for the platform with jib crane. The width ranges from 2000 to 2200 mm, for the flatbed truck even up to 2245 mm.
The entry-level engine is the CA4DC2-10E3 with an output of 76 kW. Above that is the 88 kW CA4DC2-10E4. Both engines have a displacement of 3168 cm³. The maximum torque of both engines is given as 245 Nm / 1900–2100. The average consumption is 13.5 liters. For units with city mode, the average consumption can be reduced to 12 liters. The engines comply with the EURO III emissions standard .

The medium-weight trucks are sold under the name BAW Fenix L (Russian BAW Ф enix L). There are also different versions of flatbed trucks and panel vans. In addition, the jib cranes are now available in different versions. There are also, car transporters, tankers, dump trucks and garbage trucks. The vehicle length ranges from 5980 mm to 7900 mm. The vehicle width ranges from 2245 mm to 2350 mm.
The standard motor is provided with the 88 kW CA4DC2-12E3. The maximum torque is 180 Nm / 3200. The top engine, on the other hand, is the 91 kW CA4DC2-12E4. The maximum torque is 320 Nm / 1900–2100. The average consumption is stated at 17.7 liters, in city mode at 15.9 liters. Both engines have a displacement of 3168 cm³ and comply with the EURO III emissions standard.
