The BKSTS - The Moving Image Society is an educational organization for professions in the field of film technology. "BKSTS" was originally an abbreviation for "British Cinematograph Sound and Television Society".
Based in Buckinghamshire, the association offers professional filmmakers information and courses on the industrial, technical and craft aspects of film , television and cinema . The rapidly developing market for technical innovations in all areas of film is the basis of the courses offered: radio technology , television technology , film funding , sound for film and video, digital technology and summer film workshops.
The BKSTS was founded in Great Britain in 1931 and has over 2000 members.
