The BP / Aral-Haus , formerly Aral-Haus , is an office building at Wittener Straße 45 near Bochum's main train station in Bochum-Mitte . It is located opposite the Deutsche Post building, between Kortum Park and the city ​​archive .

The oldest part of the building was built in 1925. The architect was Heinrich Schmiedeknecht on behalf of the Benzol Association . Since then, several extensions have been made. It was later the headquarters of Aral's headquarters , and the German BP Foundation is also based there. It is now part of BP .
