The BRAK-Mitteilungen is a German bimonthly magazine on professional law as well as information on the professional policy of the Federal Bar Association (BRAK). The journal contains articles on legal professional law, for example on the duties and liability of lawyers, as well as current reports on the work of the Federal Bar Association. In addition, the journal documents the professional jurisprudence and is the organ for the official announcement of the statute law adopted by the constitutional assembly at the Federal Bar Association (in particular: professional code for lawyers ; specialist lawyer code ).

The magazine also contains the BRAK magazine as a supplement, which reports in an entertaining way on the work of the BRAK as well as the latest developments, practice-related topics for legal work and legal events.

The journal's scientific advisory board includes lawyer Christian Kirchberg, Karlsruhe (chairman), Matthias Kilian, University of Cologne and lawyer JR Heinz Weil, Paris.

target group

The BRAK-Mitteilungen are aimed at all lawyers admitted to the Federal Republic of Germany as well as office staff.

Reference and frequency of publication

The BRAK-Mitteilungen can be obtained with an annual subscription, members of the bar associations receive the magazine as part of their membership. The magazine is published in the 48th year (2017) every two months on February 20th, April 20th, June 20th, August 20th, October 20th and December 15th.
